The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency
(the Agency) is making available $50,000 under
its Participant Funding Program to assist groups
and individuals to participate in the federal
environmental assessment of the proposed Ajax
Copper-Gold Mine Project in British Columbia
(BC).

(the Agency) is making available $150,000 under
its Participant Funding Program to assist groups
and individuals to participate in the environmental
assessment process of the proposed Marathon
Platinum Group Metals and Copper Mine Project
in Ontario.

Period And Federal Funding Available

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency
(the Agency) is conducting a comprehensive study,
which is atype of environmental assessment,
for the proposed Elmtree Property Gold Mine
Project located in New Brunswick. At this time,
the comprehensive study is in its early stages.
The Agency invites the public to comment on
the project, the conduct of the comprehensive
study and the draft Environmental Impact Statement
(EIS) Guidelines.
